The Chinese government adheres to the general strategy of "guarding against imported cases and preventing a resurgence of the outbreak at home" and the general policy of "dynamic zero-COVID",

 

Previously, some cities in China require 14 days of centralized quarantine in hotels - and seven more days at home.

 

According to Bloomberg, Chinese officials are studying whether to shorten the entry quarantine period to "2+5", that is, two days of centralized quarantine in hotel and 5 days of home quarantine. It is expected that the above requirements may be included in the China’s new epidemic prevention and control plan.

Since Sept 26, HK has adopted the quarantine period of “0+3”.
