This week as more and more regions in China ease the covid-19 quarantine policies, the inspection, customs’ policies and cold store are back to normal at many Chinese ports. What’s more, Chinese Customs cancels the nucleic acid disinfection and sterilization requirement of imported cold chain food, and the State Administration for Market Regulation also issued a notice on the prevention and control measures for imported cold chain food in the domestic market on Dec 28

From Jan 8, 2023:

1. Nucleic acid detection and disinfection of imported cold chain food are no longer required

2. Centralized supervision is no longer required

3. Traceability system of imported cold chain food may continue being put into use
